Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3 - Turtles Kikiippatsu

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Turtles Kikiippatsu (Japanese title) is an action-adventure Metroidvania game on Game Boy. Players start as Michelangelo and use his nunchaku for hovering, nunchaku strikes, jump kicks, and shuriken (only on ladders). Progressing through a large interconnected maze, players rescue captured brothers Leonardo, Raphael, Donatello, and Splinter; April O'Neil is also kidnapped. Unique abilities unlock new paths: Leonardo drills floors with his katana spin, Raphael hides in his shell for tight spaces, Donatello clings and climbs walls. Story begins a year after Shredder's defeat when a prison break frees him; he kidnaps April, Splinter, and the other turtles to use as a trap. Defeating bosses (Shredder's minions) opens areas and cells. It stands out as the only non-linear, exploration-focused TMNT Game Boy title with Metroid-like maze navigation and turtle-specific mechanics.
