Theresia.. - Dear Emile

Theresia - Dear Emile is a psychological horror visual novel adventure game for the Nintendo DS. In the 'Dear Emile' segment, players control Leanne, a teenage girl who wakes up in a dim, abandoned facility with no memory, discovering corpses and traps as she explores and solves puzzles to recover her past and escape. Gameplay features two modes: a movement mode to navigate the facility and a puzzle-solving mode using the DS touchscreen for interaction and investigation. The story explores obsessive mother-daughter relationships, loss, guilt, and intertwined fates across two parts (Dear Emile and the unlockable Dear Martel). The game stands out for its atmospheric tension, creepy design, and focus on psychological depth rather than gore, using the DS hardware for unique observational interactions. It is single-player and blends horror with emotional storytelling.
