Three Kingdoms Heroes Biography

Sangokushi Eiketsuden is a tactical role-playing simulation game set in the chaotic Three Kingdoms period of ancient China. The player controls Liu Bei, the loyal lord of the Shu kingdom, leading his sworn brothers Guan Yu and Zhang Fei and strategist Zhuge Liang to restore the fallen Han dynasty. Gameplay involves turn-based battles on hexagonal battlefield maps, character recruitment and leveling with class upgrades (swordsman, horseman, archer), exploration of towns and rural maps to recruit allies and buy equipment, and narrative-driven campaigns divided into four chapters. Key characters include the heroic Liu Bei, the fierce Guan Yu, the brave Zhang Fei, and the wise Zhuge Liang, whose loyalty and skills determine endings. What makes it stand out is its blend of Koei-style strategy RPG elements with deep historical storytelling and branching outcomes based on officer performance.
