Tomb Raider - Legend

Tomb Raider: Legend is an action-adventure game that follows Lara Croft racing the world to find the mythical sword Excalibur while pursuing her presumed-dead friend Amanda Evert. The GBA version adapts the story into 2D side-scrolling levels with parallax scrolling, featuring Lara solving puzzles, collecting artifacts, and using new equipment like the grappling hook and communication device. Combat sections have Lara dodging enemy fire and defeating all foes. The narrative is told through slideshow comic strips, with minor game modes like Klotski and Memory puzzles unlocked by collecting rewards. Lara changes outfits between the regular outfit, Tokyo dress, and Winter suit. What makes it stand out is its faithful adaptation of the Legend storyline and key levels to the Game Boy Advance in side-scrolling format with added platforming.
