About the Game
Black Matrix Zero is a tactical role-playing game set in a world of winged humans: angels, devils, and wingless people. Gameplay involves turn-based strategy battles on grids where players command characters with unique abilities to defeat enemies. The story follows protagonist Kain, a wingless boy rescued by angels who gains wings and teams up with Matia, a mysterious wingless girl with special powers, and allies like Yohane. Standout elements include choice of devil or angel wings for Cain, religious themes of good vs. evil, cutscenes revealing plot, and a world hundreds of years before the original Black/Matrix. It was released on Game Boy Advance.
