About the Game

VR Troopers is a side-scrolling action platformer based on the live-action TV series. Players control one of three protagonists—Ryan Steele, Kaitlin Star, or J.B. Reese—fighting through virtual reality battles against the evil Grimdor and his minions. The game features fast-paced combat with jump mechanics and power-ups, challenging level designs with multiple routes, and boss encounters from the show. Each character has unique abilities that affect gameplay progression. The cartridge brings the neon-soaked aesthetic of the show to Game Gear's small screen with sprite-based graphics and energetic soundtrack.
