About the Game

War 3010 - The Revolution is a turn-based strategy game released in 1996 for Super Nintendo. The player commands a battle fleet seized from the Kyllen intergalactic menace to free humanity and the civilized universe from slavery. Gameplay follows turn-based space and ground combat where players upgrade vessels, capture starbases to construct new ships, and manage fleets across levels, directly based on the mechanics of the predecessor War 2410. There are no individual character protagonists but focuses on fleet command and tactical battles. The story involves defending starbases from Kyllen forces in a sci-fi setting set in 3010. What makes it stand out is its faithful turn-based naval and planetary warfare with ship customization and large-scale battles in an epic post-2410 universe.
