About the Game

WCW - The Main Event is a wrestling game featuring nine playable WCW superstars including Sting, Steve Austin, Rick Rude, Big Van Vader, and the Steiner Brothers. Gameplay features two match types: best-of-three/five pinfalls or timed bouts (5-15 minutes), with unique special moves per wrestler alongside standard punches, clotheslines, bodyslams, suplexes, dropkicks, and cross body blocks. Matches can extend outside the ring without a 10-count penalty in some cases, and it includes single match or elimination tournament modes. What makes it stand out is its larger roster for 1994 and multiple match formats in a portable package, delivering fast-paced arcade-style WCW action with recognizable 1990s WCW stars on the Game Boy.
