WWF Attitude

WWF Attitude on Game Boy Color is a wrestling game based on the World Wrestling Federation (WWF). It features an arcade-style 2D combat system with simplified inputs for handheld play. Players choose from a roster of around 20 recognizable WWF Attitude Era wrestlers and compete in various match types. There is a Career mode where you progress as a wrestler, plus Exhibition, Tag Team, and other game modes. The game retains core mechanics from prior titles like WWF War Zone but is optimized for GBC controls and features signatures moves, grapples, and animations for each character. What makes it stand out is the full port of the console roster to the handheld platform, including early female wrestlers like Sable, providing portable access to the gritty, Attitude Era vibe with password save and multiple modes.
