About the Game
Airwolf is a horizontal-scrolling helicopter shooter. The player pilots the titular advanced supersonic helicopter in a cockpit view to shoot down enemy aircraft and rescue prisoners from enemy bases across 20 missions. There are three types of bases: refueling home bases for repairs, enemy airfields to destroy, and prisoner bases where you must land to rescue captives. Gameplay involves managing fuel and health while battling jets, tanks, ground troops, and more. The story draws from the 1980s TV series, pitting the Airwolf helicopter against villains like Pig Bad and the Dark Master in espionage missions.
