ALF

ALF is an action-adventure game for the Sega Master System where players control the title character ALF as he repairs his broken spaceship to reunite with his friends Rhonda and Skip on Mars. Gameplay involves platforming, collecting items such as pearls from giant clams, space scooter fuel from caves, and space suits, while solving puzzles to fix the ship and escape Earth. The story follows ALF's mission as a stranded alien seeking a happy reunion with his girlfriend and best friend. Standout characters include ALF (the furry alien protagonist), Rhonda (his love interest), and Skip (his pal). It stands out for its faithful yet janky TV-show tie-in platformer style with realistic crouch-jump mechanics and exploration of various environments, though it features challenging collision detection typical of 1989 8-bit titles.
