About the Game

Art Alive! is an educational paint program for the Sega Mega Drive that teaches digital drawing and creativity. Players start with a blank canvas and use brushes, spray cans, fill tools, shapes, patterns, and stamps of Sonic the Hedgehog, ToeJam & Earl, and other Sega characters. Each stamp character has preset 4-frame animations that can be edited, animated, and placed anywhere. The game stands out with its Sega mascot integration and simple yet fun interface for kids. Modes include free drawing and stamp-based creation. It was one of the first non-game titles on the 16-bit platform, though overshadowed by Mario Paint.
