Bandit Kings of Ancient China is a turn-based strategy RPG set in 12th-century China. You lead a band of outlaws, recruit 108 heroes with unique stats and skills from the classic Water Margin novel, and expand your territory by conquering cities and defeating enemies in battles. Core gameplay mechanics include recruiting loyal followers who form your core army, assigning them to different roles (fighter, archer, healer, etc.), managing resources, and using a grid-based map for movement and combat. The story follows your journey to overthrow the corrupt emperor before the 1129 Mongol invasion, with branching paths based on decisions and alliances. Standout features are the epic orchestral soundtrack, deep character customization, and strategic depth in diplomacy and warfare. Multiplayer mode supports up to 5 players.
