Bio Hero

Bionicle Heroes is an action shooter on the Game Boy Advance where you play as the Toa Mata team on the island of Voya Nui. Collect masks to switch between characters (Hahli, Hewkii, Kongu, Nuparu, Onewa, Whenua) and use elemental powers to navigate levels filled with Piraka and obstacles. Gameplay involves run-and-gun shooting with platforming, combat, and story progression against the Piraka who stole the masks. The narrative follows the Toa Inika's defeat and a Matoran transforming into a new Toa to save them. Standout features are the character switching, elemental abilities, and handheld action on the GBA. What makes it stand out is the direct adaptation of the Voya Nui story with kid-friendly LEGO-style block building and exploration.
