Boboboubo Boubobo - Ougi 87.5 Bakuretsu Hanage Shinken

Boboboubo Boubobo: Ougi 87.5 Bakuretsu Hanage Shinken is an RPG based on the Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo manga. In a linear side-scrolling adventure, the player follows Bobobo-bo Bo-bobo and his allies through battlefields while exploring side-quests. Battle is turn-based: Bobobo manually inputs attacks on the Word Reel by timing button presses to string up to five words that form explosive Hanage Shinken puns, with automatic allies providing support. Hajike points serve as HP, and beans act as both currency and experience to level stats like offense, defense, speed, and technique. Two game modes exist: story campaign and 1v1 Hajike Versus multiplayer. The story retells the manga up to the Gunkan arc with post-game content involving the Flower Demon King. It stands out for its word-puzzle combat that recreates the anime's signature slapstick jokes and gags.
