Chameleon

Chameleon Twist is a 3D platformer where players control one of four anthropomorphic chameleons to explore six themed worlds and escape a magical portal. Gameplay revolves around the unique tongue mechanic: hold B to extend the flexible tongue, adjust its direction with the analog stick, attach to poles for swinging or pulling yourself across gaps, consume or stun enemies, or perform Quick Rotations to scoop up multiple foes. Story follows Davy the blue chameleon (or friends Jack, Fred, or Linda) who follows a rabbit into a magic hole and is transported to a humanoid form, seeking a way home. Characters are the four customizable chameleons with distinct personalities and abilities in the magical lands of Wonder and beyond. What makes it stand out is its innovative tongue-based physics and traversal, delivering fun, challenging platforming and boss fights that feel fresh for the N64 era.
