About the Game
Champion Ice Hockey is a top-down sports game in Sega's Champion series. You select difficulty (Amateur, Semi-Pro, or Pro) and control one of three players per team on the ice. Red team faces Blue team in 3-on-3 action. Controls: joystick to move your highlighted player, Button I for shots, Button II for passes. Goalies control up/down. A referee appears at start or fouls. Full matches last 20 minutes. Hitting opponents stuns them briefly. Simple physics and repetitive matches make it one of the better (but still basic) entries in the series.
