About the Game

Metroid is a 1986 action-adventure game developed and published by Nintendo. It is the first game in the Metroid series and follows bounty hunter Samus Aran as she searches for stolen Metroids on the planet Zebes. The gameplay focuses on exploration, where finding power-ups opens new routes and abilities. Nintendo later rereleased it on several systems, including the Game Boy Advance, and published the remade Metroid: Zero Mission there in 2004.
