Digimon Adventure

Digimon Adventure is a role-playing game based on the 1999 anime series. Players control seven children - Tai Kamiya, Matt Ishida, Sora Takenouchi, Koushiro Izumi, Mimi Tachikawa, Joe Kido, and Takeru Takaishi - who are transported to the Digital World with their Digimon partners. In turn-based RPG battles, up to six Digimon (three per side) fight, with the leader controlled directly and others using strategy menu commands. Gameplay includes exploration in the Digital World and episodes retelling the anime, with Digivolution into stronger forms like Greymon and Agumon. The story follows the DigiDestined heroes saving the Digital World from evil Digimon like Kuwagamon and Shellmon, plus original scenarios. What makes it stand out is the full anime adaptation with voice acting, new story elements, and portable RPG depth featuring the Digivice system.
