Emergency Exit

Exit (Japanese: 緊急出口, also known as Escape Master or 逃脱大师) is a puzzle action game developed by Taito for the PlayStation Portable. Players control Mr. ESC, a professional escape specialist who must enter disaster sites such as fires and earthquakes to rescue trapped civilians. The core gameplay involves planning efficient routes, solving environmental puzzles, and coordinating safe evacuations through precise thinking rather than raw reflexes, with levels designed for short 5-15 minute sessions ideal for portable play. The story introduces the Mr. ESC character as he navigates various hazardous environments to save people. What makes it stand out is its emphasis on logical problem-solving and strategic route optimization, setting it apart from pure action or platformer titles in the PSP puzzle genre. As the first game in the Exit series, it establishes the rescue concept that the sequel expands upon.
