About the Game

SD F-1 Grand Prix is a Japan-exclusive kart-style F1 racing game featuring chibi animal drivers piloting miniature open-wheel cars. Gameplay includes Grand Prix mode with 16 real-world inspired tracks, Crash Race mode with power-ups and battles, Time Trial, and multiplayer. Characters are anthropomorphic animals representing 1994/1995 drivers such as Wolf Shubarut (Michael Schumacher), Chuu Kamikaze (Ukyo Katayama), and others; each has unique stats for speed, acceleration, grip, and weight. Upgrades for engine, tires, and body are earned via race results and spent between races. Story mode involves sequential races and championship progression. It stands out for its humorous Super Deformed art style, Mario Kart-inspired chaos, and cute yet licensed F1 parody.
