Fossil Fighters Champions

Fossil Fighters: Champions is a role-playing game on Nintendo DS in which players explore the Caliosteo Islands to dig up and clean fossil rocks using touchscreen minigames with hammers and drills (or automatic cleaning by KL-33N robot). Revived dinosaur-like vivosaurs form teams for turn-based battles on a hexagonal field where players rotate units to best attack ranges, manage Fossil Power (FP) for skills/buffs, and leverage elemental matchups (Fire, Water, Air, Earth, Neutral) plus unique support effects. The story follows the nameable protagonist, best friend Todd, and Patrol Team members Pauleen (magic-mask Digadig girl) and Rupert (egotistical CEO son) as they compete in the Caliosteo Cup tournament to battle the ancient sorcerer Zongazonga while uncovering island history from Caliosteo Slablets. It stands out with new fossil rock types (giant, odd, wonderous, miraculous), vivosaur bank for custom versions, max rank 20, player gender/element choice at start, and online multiplayer/team uploads.
