Fighter Destiny 2 is a 3D arena-based fighting game for the Nintendo 64. Players select from 11 default characters (plus 5 unlockable secret fighters) including returning Saeki, Abdul, Meiling, Ninja, Pierre, and newcomers Adriana, Federico, D-Dog, Kate, Ziege, and Dixon, each with unique movesets and backgrounds. Battles take place on raised square platforms where the objective is to knock opponents off the arena to earn points, with points awarded for hits, throws, reversals, and special moves. A new Fighter's Arena mode adds board-game progression for attribute growth and skill learning. The game uses a three-button control scheme inspired by Virtua Fighter (G for defense, short G for escape) and awards victory points like professional wrestling.
