About the Game

Gemfire is a turn-based fantasy strategy game set on the fictional Isle of Ishmeria. Players unify the island by conquering territories, hiring troops (archers, infantry, cavalry, dragons), and capturing castles. Four scenarios feature houses with unique strengths; one major house (Lankshire) is unplayable but remains a threat. Gameplay involves tactics screens for map actions and individual battle screens where you move units, build fences, and fight turn-based. The story follows Princess Robyn who steals the Gemfire crown, releasing six powerful wizards who ally with noble houses to overthrow the tyrannical King Eselred. Units like dragons and magicians stand out.
