Golden Sun: The Lost Age

Golden Sun is a classic turn-based Japanese RPG where players control Isaac, a Venus Adept, along with companions Garet (Mars Adept), Ivan (Jupiter Adept), and Mia (Mercury Adept). The gameplay features deep dungeon exploration with Psynergy puzzles, such as moving pillars, freezing water, and using telekinesis to solve environmental challenges. Battles are strategic, with a Djinn system allowing players to equip and summon powerful elemental spirits that alter character classes and unleash devastating attacks. The story follows the group from the village of Vale as they pursue antagonists to prevent the release of Alchemy, which could destroy Weyard. What stands out is the beautiful pixel art, memorable soundtrack by Motoi Sakuraba, and the innovative puzzle-solving integrated with the world map and story progression.
