About the Game
Grand Theft Auto: Vice City Stories is an action-adventure open-world game developed by Rockstar Leeds and Rockstar North and published by Rockstar Games for the PSP in 2006. Set in 1984 Vice City, two years before the events of Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, players control former soldier Victor 'Vic' Vance as he rises through the criminal underworld to build his own empire while protecting his family. Gameplay blends third-person shooting, driving, and melee combat with police chases and free-roaming exploration of the neon-soaked city. It stands out as the first GTA with full sandbox gameplay on a handheld, featuring wireless multiplayer (up to 6 players), property acquisition, and a compelling prequel story that expands the Vice City universe.
