About the Game

Hako Boy! Hakozume Box is a Japan-exclusive compilation of the BoxBoy! puzzle-platform series for 3DS. Players control Qbby, a square-shaped boy who can create and manipulate strings of connected boxes to solve levels. Gameplay includes worlds with themed mechanics such as lasers, cranes, and star blocks, where Qbby must guide the boxes through obstacles, build bridges, block hazards, or grapple ledges. Each stage has limited boxes, checkpoints, and medal rewards for challenges, costumes, and music. The game features a minimal story with Qbby teaming up with Qucy and Qudy, plus an Amiibo support and soundtrack from all three games. What makes it stand out is the creative, physics-based box manipulation that combines simple yet clever puzzles with charming 3DS visuals and endless replayability.
