About the Game

Home Mahjong is a puzzle game for the SG-1000. Developed and published by Sega in 1984, it allows players to engage in mahjong-style tile matching. Players can play against the computer or another human opponent. Modes include two-player competition, single-player versus multiple computers, or one-player versus multiple opponents. An accessory plastic screen is included for two-player play to hide tiles. Gameplay involves removing matching tiles from a grid to clear the board. It stands out as one of the earliest home mahjong experiences with expanded modes and a physical accessory for privacy.
