Harold investigating the apparent suicide of 24-year-old pianist Sara Shields in Manhattan Requiem, where you freely explore the city, interview around 30 characters, uncover clues, and piece together motives in a non-linear manner. Kiss of Murder is a parallel-world counterpart involving the theft of a large blue sapphire and Sara Shields' murder; you again navigate New York locations, interrogate suspects, gather evidence, and solve the case using the same character models and graphics but with a completely different plot. The game emphasizes investigation mechanics like talking to people, asking 'Do you know?' queries, and exploring map locations unlocked progressively.
