About the Game

Kirby Tilt 'n' Tumble is an action-puzzle game for the Game Boy Color. Players control Kirby, a pink puffball, by tilting the handheld to roll him through levels. The story begins with Kirby napping on a cloud when Waddle Dees and King Dedede appear, carrying bumpers. Kirby hops on a warp star and discovers Dream Land has lost all its stars, so he sets off to retrieve them by defeating Dedede. Gameplay involves rolling Kirby over clock tiles to stop the timer, using the "pop" action to flip the console and fling Kirby upward into the air (transforming enemies into stars), collecting stars, and avoiding hazards like quicksand or falls. There are multiple levels with bonus worlds unlocked by completing a stage and collecting the red star. It stands out as one of the first games to use the GBC's accelerometer for motion controls, creating unique platforming challenges and tension.
