Kouryuu Densetsu Villgust - Kieta Shoujo

Kouryuu Densetsu Villgust: Kieta Shoujo is a traditional turn-based JRPG where players control a party of up to five adventurers in an overworld exploration style. The protagonist Shun is teleported to the medieval world of Villgust with his girlfriend Michiko, who is kidnapped by the evil group Vile. Shun teams up with RAGE leader Kui and other adventurers like Chris and Murabo to rescue Michiko and stop Vile's plan to resurrect an evil deity. Gameplay features standard JRPG progression with character leveling, spell casting, equipment purchases, and dungeon exploration. The game stands out for its party size limit of five members and breaking the conventional 9999 HP cap, allowing characters to evolve into powerful forces. Story modes involve linear quests but with exploration freedom on the world map.
