Legend of Legacy, The

The Legend of Legacy is a turn-based RPG for Nintendo 3DS featuring a unique party system where you can recruit up to seven characters from eight available protagonists, each with distinct storylines and perspectives. The game uses a grid-based battle system combined with a field-effect mechanic, where positioning and environmental factors influence combat outcomes. Players explore an uncharted continent, uncovering mysteries through a fragmented narrative structure that reveals different truths based on which characters you recruit. The game emphasizes exploration and discovery over a linear plot, with vibrant hand-drawn artwork by character designer Yoichi Miyaji. Combat rewards strategic thinking, combining character abilities, legacy skills, and formation tactics to overcome challenging enemies.
