About the Game
The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass is an action-adventure game for the Nintendo DS. Players control Link on the Great Sea aboard the S.S. Linebeck, exploring islands by sailing and using the stylus to draw sea routes while defending with the cannon. On land, Link uses boomerang, bow, bombs and other items to solve puzzles and fight Phantoms in dungeons like the Temple of the Ocean King, which has a life-draining curse but can be explored freely after obtaining the Phantom Hourglass. The story follows Link rescuing Tetra from the Ghost Ship, freeing Spirits of Power, Wisdom and Courage to craft the Phantom Sword and defeat the demon Bellum. Multiplayer mode allows one player to defend as Link while the other controls three Phantom Guardians. It stands out for its innovative touchscreen controls, two-screen dungeon design with safe zones, and seamless sailing exploration.
