About the Game
Libble Rabble is a top-down puzzle game where players control two colored arrows: red Libble and blue Rabble, connected by a rope-like line. The objective is to wrap the line around pegs on a rectangular grid to enclose and harvest enemies known as Mushlins (mushrooms), Hobblins (hooded figures), Killers (fireballs), Changers (sparks), Shears (Pac-Man-like creatures), and Demons. Players can close loops individually for extra points or move both arrows together to the same edge. Seasons require harvesting all enemies within time limits, with occasional bonus chests releasing Topcups when areas are sealed. Single-player mode is the primary focus, with a simple two-player simultaneous mode available. The game stands out for its ingenious rubber-band-style wrapping mechanics, blending arcade precision with strategic puzzle-solving on the SNES hardware, created by Namco's Toru Iwatani (Pac-Man designer). It includes a special SNES button pad slip to emulate the original arcade twin-stick controls.
