Nishimura Kyoutarou Mystery - Super Express Satsujin Jiken

Nishimura Kyoutarou Mystery - Super Express Satsujin Jiken is an adventure game for the Famicom based on novelist Kyotaro Nishimura's works, where the player acts as a detective solving a murder aboard the Shinkansen bullet train. Gameplay involves menu-based interactions: selecting operative words to examine scenes, objects, and NPCs, talking to suspects and witnesses, and gathering clues to identify the killer. The story centers on a murder case on the high-speed train with a cast of passengers and crew as potential culprits. Key characters include the player detective and various witnesses or suspects tied to the plot. It stands out as a graphic adventure series entry with precise puzzle-solving through environmental hotspots and dialogue, released exclusively in Japan in 1990.
