About the Game
Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen is a real-time tactical RPG on SNES where the player controls the Liberation Army leader against the evil Zeteginean Empire. Gameplay features world-map movement, squad management, class upgrades, and turn-based tactical battles. Story follows the player as the Opinion Leader leading rebels to free the continent from Empress Endora's rule, aided by characters like Lans Hamilton (knight), Warren Moon (wizard), and Tristan. Standout mechanics include an alignment system affecting reputation and endings (13 possible), tarot card effects in battles, and time-of-day influences on units.
