About the Game
Parallel World is a real-time puzzle game for NES/Famicom. Players control a male and female character who are sucked into an alternate universe and must find their way home. They navigate a magnificent castle containing 25 different game worlds filled with enemies on every stage. The player has an overhead view and must destroy enemies for extra loot while solving puzzles within a strict 100-second time limit per stage. The game rewards fast solvers, and the first player controls the male while the second controls the female. Only three lives are available, and players lose them if time runs out or if a monster makes contact. Enemies include springs, rollers, witches, and zombies.
