Phalanx - The Enforce Fighter A-144

Phalanx: The Enforce Fighter A-144 is a horizontally scrolling shooter where players pilot the advanced A-144 Phalanx starfighter. Piloted by Wink Baufield, the ship is deployed to planet Delia IV in the Andromeda galaxy to combat an invading alien life form that has taken over human military systems. Gameplay involves navigating eight stages filled with enemy swarms, collecting power-ups for weapons like lasers and missiles (up to four equipped at once), managing ship speed levels for dodging, and using bomb attacks or weapon crashes for powerful clears. The ship has multiple hit points, adding strategic depth. It stands out for its detailed ship sprites, challenging bullet patterns, persistent health system, and memorable music in a classic shmup package.
