Populous II - Trials of the Olympian Gods

Populous II: Trials of the Olympian Gods is a god-game strategy title where the player controls a demigod descendant of Zeus to defeat the other 32 Olympian gods. The player shapes the landscape by creating land, water, forests, and cities while commanding armies to battle enemy forces. It features 29 unique powers divided into six categories (earth, water, wind, fire, plants, people) that must be unlocked via a manna meter. The goal is to prove worth among the pantheon by winning confrontations across mythological levels. Standout mechanics include real-time strategy battles, resource management, and an expanded power set compared to the original Populous. The SNES port was developed by Infinity.
