Radical Rex

Radical Rex is a platformer action game starring Radical Rex, a fire-breathing skateboarding Tyrannosaurus rex who must save his land and girlfriend Rexanne from the evil magician Sethron. Players control Rex through ten levels featuring jungles, freak-out forests, haunted dino-graveyards, underwater caves, and even inside a giant dinosaur. Rex uses abilities like a roar that damages all enemies on screen, fire breath to temporarily immobilize foes, bubble spray underwater, and swinging on vines while skating. Sethron is replaced by the weasel-like mammal Skriitch in Genesis and Sega CD versions. The game features single-player and multiplayer modes with boss fights and power-ups. It stands out for its cute, humorous graphics, simple yet addictive platforming reminiscent of Joe and Mac, and the endearing character design of the skateboarding dinosaur hero.
