Rainbow Islands

Rainbow Islands on Sega Master System is a colorful platformer port of the 1987 Taito arcade classic. Gameplay lets players control Bubby or Bobby, the human forms of the Bubble Bobble brothers, who hop across floating rainbow-colored platforms while shooting rainbow beams to defeat enemies and collect gems. Levels are structured across ten islands with a goal of reaching the top and collecting seven rainbow diamonds in the correct order. The story follows Bubby and Bobby rescuing the villagers of the Rainbow Islands from the evil Master of Darkness, who has transformed them into Bubble Dragons; they must navigate hazards like flying enemies, platforms that break, and boss fights to defeat the villain and restore peace.
