About the Game
Rambo III is an overhead run-and-gun shooter based on the 1988 film. Players control John Rambo (or Colonel Sam Trautman in co-op), who infiltrates Soviet-controlled Afghanistan to rescue Trautman. Rambo uses a never-ending machine gun, a limited-aiming bow with explosive arrows, a knife for close combat, and timed bombs. He can hide behind rocks or obstacles but is vulnerable to one hit. Soviet tanks and helicopters are destroyed with the bow while Rambo is stationary. The game includes multiple stages with enemy waves, vehicle sections, and co-op play as both heroes.
