About the Game

Rocket Ranger is an action-adventure game set in an alternate WWII timeline where Nazis have won and are mining lunarium on the moon. You play as the Rocket Ranger, a US Army scientist equipped with a rocket pack, ray gun, and wrist computer. Gameplay involves flying missions, shooting down zeppelins and fighters, base assaults, and hand-to-hand combat with guards. A strategy mode lets you deploy up to five agents to spy or organize resistance, using a world map and secret decoder wheel for navigation and fuel calculations. Story follows a heroic rescue of kidnapped scientists Dr. Barnstoff and Jane, culminating in battling an alien overlord. It stands out with its cinematic cutscenes, choice-based branching story, and heavy copy-protection via the decoder wheel.
