Roogoo Attack!

Roogoo Attack! is a puzzle-platform game on the Nintendo DS. The player controls Roogoo, a cute animal hero, on a mission to stop the evil Meemoos who have invaded the planet Roo and transformed the original Roogoos into greedy monsters. Gameplay involves lining up falling shapes (stars, triangles, squares, hearts, and special items like roosters or cheeseburgers) onto matching holes on floating circular platforms by rotating them with L and R buttons; incorrect alignments fill a side meter and require restarts. Optional skydiving mini-games let Roogoo catch shapes while shooting at Meemoos, but hitting too many triggers a level loss. Worlds feature varied backdrops like plains, oceans, mountains, and wastelands, with obstacles such as flipping platforms, lids, and butterflies. There is a split-screen multiplayer mode for up to four players racing to finish stages fastest. Unlockable stages are available via wireless link with the companion Wii title Roogoo Twisted Towers.
