Steal Princess

Steal Princess is a puzzle-based platformer where players control Anise, a master thief. She is mistaken for the Legendary Hero of Albyon by the king, who sends her on a quest to rescue his son from the Demon King's palace. Gameplay involves 150 short isometric levels across diverse locations like grasslands, seashores, and demonic palaces. Players use Anise's whip to stun enemies, activate switches, grab items from afar, and complete mechanics such as defeating enemies to reveal keys, placing keys in lock-boxes, and opening doors. Special modes include a level editor for creating and sharing custom maps via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. The story mixes action with occasional dull scenes about Anise's debt and the king's deceptions. What makes it stand out is its innovative puzzle-platform hybrid with broad map variety, medal time-based rewards, and creative level design.
