About the Game
Royal Stone - Hirakareshi Toki no Tobira is a turn-based tactical RPG for the Sega Game Gear. Players control Eva, a disgraced female knight of Martalia accused of betraying her father and exiled from the kingdom. She explores towns and dungeons to gather information, recruit monsters, and confront a greater threat. The story spans 16 rounds with plot twists involving warring factions, Eva's tragic backstory, and her redemption. A companion named Cocotte aids in combat and exploration. It features a unique elemental system with Rock-Paper-Scissors relationships (fire, wind, water; earth neutral) that determines strengths and weaknesses, making battles strategic.
