RTL World Football Alliance 2000

Michael Owen's World League Soccer 2000 (known as RTL World League Soccer 2000) is a 3D association football simulation developed by Silicon Dreams Studio and published by THQ for the Nintendo 64. The game features English football star Michael Owen as the focal point alongside real-world leagues with over 18 teams and 32 national squads in a hypothetical global competition. Gameplay involves full 3D pitch control with detailed passing, tackling, shooting, and dribbling mechanics; matches are fast-paced with single-player career mode, exhibition matches, and multiplayer options up to 4 players. Story centers on building a championship team around Michael Owen's talents and real player rosters, with no single overarching narrative beyond league progression. What makes it stand out is its use of N64's advanced 3D graphics for a football title, though controls can feel clunky for precise aiming of passes and tackles in real-time matches.
