Sansuu 4 Nen - Keisan Game

Sansuu 4 Nen - Keisan Game is a math educational game released for the Famicom, part of the Keisan Game series teaching fourth-grade arithmetic. Players solve division problems, decimal addition/subtraction, fraction addition/subtraction, and decimal multiplication/division in four minigames. Each minigame has two difficulty levels and supports two-player alternating play. In the division and decimal addition/subtraction modes, players control a man who moves through a dungeon, avoiding or defeating monsters with a sword while solving math equations displayed on doors; an invincible ghost patrols the exterior. Correct answers keep the player safe and allow climbing to the top of the building for more questions. The fraction and decimal multiplication/division modes feature a race car navigating a labyrinth, collecting correct-number tiles while avoiding rival drivers to reach the exit and proceed to the next problem. Incorrect answers cost lives (up to five mistakes before game over). The game combines educational drill with light action and exploration, using repetitive but themed minigames to reinforce skills.
