About the Game
Kamaitachi no Yoru Tokubetsu-hen, known internationally as Banshee's Last Cry, is a horror visual novel where players guide protagonist Toru and his girlfriend Mari through a trapped ski lodge during a massive snowstorm. Story involves murders among guests, including a serial killer, with Toru investigating clues like a note and pool of blood while facing horror elements. The special edition adds a flowchart for free scene switching, new perfect ending, two hidden routes (truth detective story and pure audio), enhanced PS1 graphics, and background character info. What makes it stand out is its innovative sound novel system with horror atmosphere, multiple endings, and PS port enhancements over the SNES original.
