Shining Force II - Inishie no Fuuin

Shining Force II: Inishie no Fuuin is a tactical turn-based strategy RPG. You lead a customizable force of up to 12 characters in an overworld map, recruiting and promoting allies like Bowie, Sarah (Master Monk), Slade the thief, and others. Exploration involves wagon travel with random encounters, while battles feature counter-attacks, real-time positioning, and class-based special abilities. The story follows thief Slade stealing ancient seals that resurrect the dark lord Zeon, requiring the formation of the Shining Force to defeat him and save the world. It stands out for its free-roaming world, cinematic battles, deep character customization, and advanced mechanics like parallax effects that push Genesis hardware limits.
